There are a few important things to remember if you have been involved in a Motoring incident:
It is perfectly normal to feel shaken after an accident. Take a few deep breaths and try to remain level-headed and calm.
Don’t take responsibility
It’s important that you do not admit liability to anyone before you speak to us and we understand the details of the incident.
Call for assistance
Phone the police and an ambulance immediately if anyone is hurt or if the road is blocked.
Make sure you exchange names, addresses and insurance details with any other parties involved.
Note important information
Write down the details of any other vehicles involved, details of any third parties and anyone who was a witness to the incident.
Try to take as many photos of the scene that you can.
Please do not mail 'hold covered' instructions as these cannot be dealt with while the office is closed.
